Champ’Pom Export est basé à Saint-Rémy-sous-Broyes (Sézanne, 51), Porte de la Champagne, à 1h de Paris. Nous sommes donc au cœur d’une des plus grande région française de production de Pommes de Terre, entre l’Aube, la Marne et la Seine ; mais également à une position géographique idéale en termes de transports. Notre seule production ne suffit cependant pas à répondre à toutes les demandes ; c’est pourquoi nous travaillons en partenariat avec un grand nombre de producteurs, spécialistes également de la Pomme de Terre

Nos destinations Export sont essentiellement situées sur la partie Ouest de l’Europe (Espagne, Italie, Portugal) bien que nous soyons présents dans une douzaine de pays. Au fur et à mesure des années, nous n’avons cessé de nous développer. Forts de notre expérience, nous sommes constamment à la recherche de nouveaux marchés et axons aujourd’hui notre développement sur l’Europe de l’Est.

Optimizing resources


The potato is a fresh product. To minimize the evolution of tubers in storage and for optimal quality of our potatoes, they are stored in pallox in cold rooms. But the ventilation and the creation of cold need very high energy: it is estimated that the energy consumption of 1T of potatoes stored for 6 months in refrigerated boxes is 60 to 80 kWh! (source Arvalis - Chamber of Agriculture North / Picardy).

In order to save energy and improve the value of our storage buildings, in 2018, we are installing 3000m² of solar panels for a total power of 500 MW. Although not allowing us to be completely autonomous in energy, this installation will cover more than 50% of our needs for our storage.

SAALTO, innovation of Utronix, is a global solution for real-time production management. From the harvest to the shipment, it ensures the registration of the different batches in the pallox.

This solution is organized around electronic tags ensuring the individualized marking of containers, connected sensors and a software integrated in a control tablet. Electronic tags guarantee the traceability of your palloxes throughout their lifetime. Specially designed, they are resistant to washes, treatments, climatic conditions, etc ...

The equipment, mounted in a few minutes on the cart, allows automatic recording of information without permanent input of operators. The monitoring of the various operations, the plans of fridges or storage areas are visible in real time on tablet or remotely. Sensors monitor and automatically report data for complete integration of your production process.

With SAALTO, Champ'Pom secures the location of pallox. Everything that enters a pallox is recorded and located. No risk of mixing in storage areas or when preparing for shipment. In the framework of quality initiatives initiated as Global G.A.P. and its GRASP module, this technique gives us additional security terms of traceability and increased working comfort.

Our thoughts go further


Today, all our differences in potatoes (sorting differences and waste) are already valued in the 4th range, animal feed or methanizer, depending on the products and their quality.

Lately, we have been thinking about optimizing these revalorizations but also about the valorisation of other agricultural waste produced on the SCEA DELAITRE and neighboring farms. We are currently studying the possibility of setting up an anaerobic digestion unit on our land.

Potato is a product consisting of an average of 80% water. Like all plants, it needs water to grow, and like many agricultural products, irrigation is highly recommended and almost necessary to ensure yield and quality. Different irrigation techniques exist, with different efficiencies and costs.

The drip technique allows to bring the water directly into the mound, closer to the roots and therefore needs; without moistening the foliage which limits the development of diseases such as late blight. This method has already been proven (and tested on the SCEA DELAITRE) but is very expensive in terms of material and labor, especially since the hoses used until today are not recyclable. The environmental and economic impact made possible by the saving water and energy by this technique is therefore limited.

Processes and materials evolve. Today, we renew our reflection on the optimization of water management and the return of drip on the SCEA DELAITRE farm.
